We have long been a fan of PQ in Belgium, where you sit at a communal table and share around the variety of Jam and chocolate spreads for your freshly cooked bread in the morning. So when were were hungry after spending some time at the New York Library, we popped in to grab a bite to eat.
We ordered a sharing Tuscan platter ($15.50), which consisted of palma ham, mango, olive paste, pesto, sun-dried tomatoes on a bed of salad and olives and a fromage frais. It wasn't bad but the olive paste was inedible, and there wasn't enough bread to go around. (4 is not enough) Also, we were not sure what the mango was doing on the plate. (yes we know it goes with palma ham but really?)
Anyway, it filled a hole and that was enough. Next time, we will stick to what we know and only go there for breakfast!
