Hobba - Prahran

For our final brunch, we ate closer to where we were staying in Prahran.

On one of the main streets through Prahran was Hobba, a place that was once a warehouse and is now a trendy restaurant. Visually stunning and very busy, we were the last ones to get a table before the waiting list was formed.

Maria ordered her staple breakfast in Melbourne, feta and avocado on toast with a 63 degree egg ($14.5). Anthony went for something that sounded very yummy, bubble and squeak, fried egg, bacon, pork sausage and brown bread hollandaise ($16.5). (Maria ordered a black pudding for him as well) Maria thought her smashed avocado was good, but the best was still at Chez Dre. Anthony's was not too bad either, but the bubble and squeak wasn't quite what he expected. The Brown bread hollandaise however was fantastic, bringing the dish together in a sticky, creamy and very rich way.
