We have known alot about the food truck scene in America long before buying our tickets to come out here - mostly from American shows we watch, and so were excited to finally get to try some food out of them.
We started at 'The Institute of Chilli' and ordered to popular 'The Bomb' - 8USD. This was pulled pork on a bun, with chili, cheese and egg. The egg was cooked well and broken before being handed to me to make sure it didn't overcook. The chilli was not Chilli-con-carne style, more Mexican chili with all the spices you would expect from a city so close to the border. It was a very messy eat, but well worth the clean up after.
Next up we ordered a bacon cheeseburger and sweet potatoe fries from 'Cullums Attaboy' - 11USD. The burger was not bad, it was cooked well but seemed a little dry. The fries however were fantastic. They seemed to be cooked in a tempura batter and went down very well.
