Paul's Steak House

We have heard a lot about this place from the expat experts. We were skeptical as we didn't think anything could match up to Hawksmoor (FYI - nothing can) but Dan had invited us out for his birthday so we joined in the fun.

Wow, were we surprised. We had heard that Paul imports all his meat, and it was clear this was not local and probably hung for a few days. The meat was tender, it cut really nicely and it was cooked just how the misses and I like it, rare. It was also still really juicy and the chips were not too bad. 

They were not cheap though... 20AZN and some for the bigger ones. 

We would definitely return to Paul's again when we need a steak fix, and we will also be trying out their sister restaurant Jack's Baku where they make burgers. EXCITING!!
